Do you also need to remove materials from your site? We can backload unwanted materials from your project after your aggregates have been delivered. Muck away on backloads is priced at a heavily discounted rate, helping to reduce costs on site. Norwood Group operates a ‘prevention is better than cure’ policy, and as such, only wate materials suited for conversion to recycled aggregate is actively sought and accepted.

Using our tippers, we remove inert and non-hazardous materials from development site. This includes topsoil, green waste, concrete and hardcore.

For sites where access is limited, we offer a grab service at competitive rates.

We require that all materials transported from site are tested and prequalified with a soil report as part of our waste acceptance responsibilities to enable us to safely remove and recycle or redeploy whilst remaining compliant. All hauliers working on behalf of Norwood Group hold a Waste Carrier’s Licence and waste transfer notes are issued for every load as a minimum for traceability and legal removal.

Earthworks & Demolition

Recycling goes hand in hand with earthworks and demolition. Norwood Group collaborates with main contractors to oversee all aspects of site development.

We offer a complete package meeting all civil engineering needs onsite from the initial design and cost planning, ground investigations (trial pits), site clearance, enabling works, and preparation of sub-surfaces, through to the final landscaping. We work closely with our environmental consultant group, as well as local parties to ensure compliance and peace of mind throughout.
